(Sensus). A dispute later arose between the City and Sensus regarding these meters that <br />could not be resolved by other means that did not include replacement. The affected meters are also <br />within the manufacturer published warranty period, and both parties have agreed the solution to resolve <br />the dispute is to replace the meters. <br />ANALYSIS <br />Some of the 7,200 meters may malfunction between now and the end of their useful life resulting in <br />recording water consumption that does not meet industry standards. Meters exhibiting this issue are <br />easily identified, and many meters may never exhibit the issue prior to routine replacement.
