Exhibit "A" <br />A proposed amendment to the Land Use Element, page 6 -4, of the Strategic <br />General Plan, adopted January 22, 1990, and amended by the City from <br />time to time. <br />Neighborhood Commercial: Land to be developed for neighborhood shopping <br />centers providing services for the immediate neighborhood. Most structures <br />would be single or two stories, compatible with adjacent residential uses. The <br />zoning classifications which could be expected are CN and PO. <br />Mixed Use: Land to be developed with commercial and /or residential uses. Its <br />purposes are to increase the opportunity for housing to be built and to <br />accommodate a mix of compatible uses in certain areas. Mixed Use may include <br />permitted activities mixed within the same building or within separate buildings on <br />the same site. The zoning classifications which could be expected are CB, CA, <br />R -5, CG -R, and CBR. <br />February 26, 2001 <br />14158 <br />
