Exhibit "B" <br />Amendments to the Land Use Plan (map) of the Strategic General Plan, adopted <br />January 22, 1990, and amended by the City from time to time <br />CHANGES TO MAP SYMBOLS: <br />In the land use category, Mixed Use (Commercial and Residential), the "Corresponding Zones" indicated <br />on the legend are "CB, CA, CP, and R -5." Two additional corresponding zones are proposed to be added to <br />the Mixed Use land use category. They are "CG -R, and CBR,." <br />The symbol on the legend for Mixed Use is proposed to be amended to indicate that Mixed Use may <br />overlay a variety of land use categories and may represent various residential densities. The symbol for <br />Mixed Use on the current Land Use Plan (map) indicates a combination of High Density Residential with <br />either Intermediate or Heavy Commercial. The proposed land use symbol would indicate residential with a <br />range of densities combined with various land use categories. On the Land Use Plan (map), the box <br />representing Mixed Use would contain black stripes on a white field, replacing brown stripes on an orange <br />field. <br />In addition, the description of the symbol on the legend for "COMMERCIAL /OFFICE Single -Story <br />Structures Adjacent Residential Neighborhoods" is proposed to be modified to read: <br />"COMMERCIAL /OFFICE Single- and Two- Story Structures Adjacent to Residential Neighborhoods." <br />The changes to the Legend of the Strategic General Plan Land Use Plan are attached hereto <br />APPLICATION OF THE "MIXED USE" DESIGNATION <br />Change the land use designation on parts of areas currently designated "Office Park Oriented Uses" and <br />"Multi -Story Structures for Offices and Retail Uses (Central Business District)" to "Mixed Use (Office <br />Park Oriented Uses/Residential)" and "Mixed Use (Multi -Story Structures for Offices and Retail Uses <br />(Central Business District) /Residential) ", as shown on the attached maps. <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />February 26, 2001 <br />14158 <br />
