EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />This scope of services details Consultant's work plan to review the Silicon Valley Clean <br />Water (SVCW) bypass pumping plan, interface with SVCW and the Shea/Parsons <br />design -build team (Shea/Parsons), develop potential short term solutions for Sanitary <br />Sewer Pump Station #19 (SSPS 19), and provide a possible long term solution for SSPS <br />19. <br />The Consultant will complete and deliver Part 1 and Part 2 Scope of Services as <br />described below: <br />A. PART 1 -Scope of Services <br />TASK 1 — Bypass Analysis, Stakeholder Interface and Development of Potential <br />Solutions <br />Task 1.1 — Project Understanding <br />Consultant shall review the data provided by the City and discuss the operational issues <br />via conference call. Consultant shall communicate with SVCW to inform them of their <br />potential involvement in this effort scoped herein. <br />Task 1.2 — Interface with Stakeholders <br />Consultant shall interface with SVCW and Shea/Parsons as needed throughout the <br />duration of the project. This will include conference calls and a potential site visit to see <br />the bypass and/or SSPS 19. <br />Task 1.3 — Bypass Analysis Initial Review <br />Consultant shall review the bypass system in more detail to determine if there are any <br />meaningful, pragmatic changes to the bypass system that may resolve the issue at <br />SSP19. If found, those potential changes will be communicated to City and SVCW. (The <br />current bypass system is currently in use and modifications to it are not preferred). <br />Schedule for Part 1 -Scope of Services: <br />Consultant shall perform the work immediately upon receipt of a Notice to Proceed from <br />the City Engineer or Designee. Task 1.3 shall be completed within one (1) week of receipt <br />of the Notice to Proceed. Part 1 -Scope of Services shall be completed within on (1) month <br />of receipt of the Notice to Proceed. <br />Budget for Part 1 -Scope of Services <br />Consultant shall perform this Part 1 -Scope of Services for a not -to -exceed amount of <br />$11,711.00 as shown in Table 1, below. <br />REV: 12-17-2020 RL <br />ATTY/AGR.2020.301/Woodard and Curran (Silicon Valley Clean Water Bypass Plan Analysis) (Page 11 of 13) <br />
