EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF WORK AND FEE <br />Contractor shall perform the following work on Hudson Street at Vera Avenue: <br />1. Installation of Solar -powered Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB) <br />Assemblies, including but not limited to pole and foundation, pedestrian signage, <br />accessible pedestrian signal assembly, solar panel, and controller and enclosure, <br />at the locations specified by City Engineer. <br />B. Supplying all labor, materials, equipment, and apparatus not specifically <br />mentioned herein or noted on the plans, but which are incidental and necessary <br />to complete the Work specified. <br />C. Attachment 1 (Signals, Lighting and Electrical Systems) and Attachment 2 <br />(Notice to Proceed) are attached hereto and incorporated by reference. <br />1.2 CONTRACTOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES <br />A. General. Contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment and services <br />necessary to perform and timely complete the Work in strict accordance with the <br />Contract Documents, and in an economic and efficient manner in the best <br />interests of City. <br />B. Responsibility for the Work and Risk of Loss. Contractor is responsible for <br />supervising and directing all aspects of the Work to facilitate the efficient and <br />timely completion of the Work. Contractor bears all risks of injury or damage to <br />the Work and the materials and equipment delivered to the worksite, by any <br />cause including fire, earthquake, wind, weather, vandalism or theft. <br />C. Project Administration.
