2.4 Push Buttons <br />A. Push buttons for RRFB assembly shall be accessible pedestrian signals. <br />PART 3 - Execution <br />3.1 GENERAL <br />A. Install Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon Assembly per manufacturer <br />instructions and as shown on the plans. <br />B. Location of pole placement shall be field reviewed and confirmed by the City <br />Engineer or designee prior to installation. The contractor should perform <br />potholing and confirm the location of the RRFB with City Engineer or designee <br />before installing any RRFB foundations. Contractor is required to do all necessary <br />potholing and surface restoration associated with potholing at no additional cost <br />to the City if any utility conflicts are identified. <br />3.2 ACCEPTANCE TEST <br />A. Refer to Attachment 1 (Section 16500 of the City's Engineering Standards and <br />Technical Specifications - "Electrical Systems") attached hereto and incorporated <br />by reference. <br />PART 4 - MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br />A. The contract price paid for the Work shall include full compensation for <br />performing the scope of work as specified in the Specifications above. The <br />contract price shall include, as appropriate, but is not necessarily limited to, <br />excavation, picking up and installing City -furnished materials (if any), construction <br />of the base, furnishing and installing foundation, furnishing and installing conduits <br />by open trench, directional bore, or jack and drilling, trenching, coring, potholing, <br />grading, backfilling, pavement restoration, and HMA backfill, wiring, posts, <br />signage, pedestrian push buttons, pull boxes, coordination with manufacturer and <br />all other components necessary to install a complete electrical system. <br />B. Item "RRFB Assemblies" shall be paid on a per each unit basis. <br />C. Contractor's request for payment <br />1. Contractor shall submit payment request upon completion of the scope of <br />work as specified in the specifications above. <br />a. City will withhold a 5% retention for all payment requests. <br />b.
