Summer (Jun -Aug)= Weekly (12 events); <br />Fall (Sept — Oct) = Variable (8 events); <br />Contingency = After major storms or during periods of unseasonable <br />weather (4 events). Contractor shall obtain City's approval prior to <br />conducting any Contingency Lagoon Monitoring Events. Additional <br />contingency events may be approved by the City on an as -needed basis. <br />C. Reporting. <br />Contractor shall prepare and submit to the City, reports, conclusions and <br />recommendations for short-term actions and long-term work plans. The following <br />reports are due to the City per the deadlines listed below: <br />• Weekly Work Plan Report — Contractor shall submit a plan in writing within <br />24 -hours following any Lagoon Monitoring Event. This report will outline all <br />planned activities necessitated by the findings of the monitoring event <br />conducted for the corresponding week. Monitoring events shall be <br />conducted on the first day of the work week. Work plans shall outline <br />planned activities for all remaining days of the week. <br />• Monthly — Contractor shall provide the City with copies of monthly use <br />reports submitted to the San Mateo County Department of Agriculture for <br />chemical treatment. Due no later than 15 days after date of submission. <br />• Monthly — Contractor shall submit a compilation of Weekly Work Plans <br />including before and after photos, for each activity (e.g. monitoring / survey, <br />spraying, harvesting, trash/cleanup, etc.). Invoices will not be considered <br />substitutes for monthly, or weekly reports. Due no later than 15 days after <br />end of reporting month. <br />• End of Season — Contractor shall provide a written, End of Season <br />summary, indicating: plant growth observations and trends, total amounts <br />of trash and debris collected, locations most frequently impacted and any <br />recommendations to alleviate the cause or reduce the source. Contractor <br />shall also provide an assessment of control strategies and <br />recommendations for the coming year. Due no later than November 15. <br />d. Mechanical/Manual Harvestina. <br />Contractor shall follow the draft Lagoon Management Plan: Redwood Shores <br />Lagoon, July 2003(http://www.redwoodcity.org/home/showdocument?id=1802), <br />and all future plan updates, set schedules, notify and advise the City on <br />recommended harvesting activities.
