Seton Pacific Construction, Inc., et al., San Mateo Superior Court Case No. <br />20 -CIV -04322. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLE <br />Excellence in Government Operations <br />BACKGROUND <br />On February 6, 2012, the City Council adopted an Ordinance (No. 2376) forming the Middlefield Road <br />Underground Utility District to provide for the removal and the underground relocation of existing <br />overhead electric and telecommunication utility lines on Middlefield Road between Main Street and <br />MacArthur Avenue. <br />On July 23, 2018, the City Council awarded the Rule 20 Middlefield Road Phase 1 Underground Utility <br />District construction contract ("Project") to Seton Pacific Construction Corporation of San Francisco <br />("Seton") for an amount of $7,625,314 to allow the conversion of utility services from overhead to <br />underground.
