By roll call vote, Jessica Meunier was appointed for a partial term seat on the <br />Planning Commission that will expire on June 30, 2022 (Aguirre, Espinoza- <br />Garnica, Smith, Hale, Howard). <br />8.13. Accept Redwood City Ferry Financial Feasibility Study and Cost -Benefit & <br />Economic Impact Analyses (205) MO 21-006 <br />Transportation Manager Jessica Manzi introduced the item, and consultant Bill <br />Hurrell from CDM Smith gave a presentation. <br />The following members of the public spoke: <br />• Adina Levin <br />• Alice Kaufman, Green Foothills <br />• Jon Carlson, BIAC <br />• Susan Lessin <br />• Seamus Murphy <br />• Jessica Alba <br />• Susan Rowinski <br />• Adrian Brandt <br />• Gita Dev <br />• Lorianna Kastrop <br />• Mark Wolohan <br />• Kristine Zortman <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, accept the Redwood City Ferry Financial Feasibility Study and Cost - <br />Benefit & Economic Impact Analyses and direct staff to initiate the Business <br />Plan Phase of the Redwood City Ferry Project. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />Motion and second, Aguirre and Reddy to accept the Redwood City Ferry <br />Financial Feasibility Study and Cost -Benefit & Economic Impact Analyses and <br />direct staff to initiate the Business Plan Phase of the Redwood City Ferry <br />Project, with the friendly amendment to add an equity study, passes <br />unanimously by roll call vote. <br />8.C. Proposed Arts Commission Work Plan for creation of a racial equity mural <br />(209) MO 21-007 <br />Parks, Recreation and Community Services Director Chris Beth introduced the <br />item, and Arts Commission Chair Ashley Quintana and Member Erin Ashford <br />gave a presentation. <br />The following members of the public spoke: <br />Page 4 of 5 <br />
