Out of Scope Costs The following discussion provides a description of the out of scope costs incurred on this project from July 1, 2009 to June 25, 2010. These out of scope costs include work performed on the Administrative Draft EIR ( ADEIR) and DEIR to address construction noise and water flow /water pressure issues, as well as the upcoming out of scope costs to have several of our technical subconsu] attend the August 17, 2010 Planning Commission public hearing on this project. Task 2 ADEIR Task 2 involved the preparation of the ADEIR. During the preparation of the ADEIR, a number of issues arose surrounding how to address temporary construction noise impacts. RMT staff was involved in extensive communication with the project applicant, City staff, and RMT's noise subconsultant, Illingworth & Rodkin, in an effort to resolve this issue. This issue resulted in the production of a second noise peer review report, and text changes to the ADEIR. Mr. Jeffrey Smith spent 40 hours of time on this task, for an out of scope cost of $5,290. Task 3 DEIR Task 3 included the preparation of the Draft EIR (DEIR). During the preparation of the DEIR, issues arose regarding the adequacy of water flow and water pressure for fire fighting and fire suppression purposes. RMT staff corresponded with the Redwood City Fire Department, City staff, and the project 4 West Fourth Avenue.
