These out of scope costs include work performed on the Administrative <br /> Draft EIR ( ADEIR) and DEIR to address construction noise and water flow /water pressure issues, as <br /> well as the upcoming out of scope costs to have several of our technical subconsu] attend the <br /> August 17, 2010 Planning Commission public hearing on this project. <br /> Task 2 ADEIR <br /> Task 2 involved the preparation of the ADEIR. During the preparation of the ADEIR, a number of <br /> issues arose surrounding how to address temporary construction noise impacts. RMT staff was <br /> involved in extensive communication with the project applicant, City staff, and RMT's noise <br /> subconsultant, Illingworth & Rodkin, in an effort to resolve this issue. This issue resulted in the <br /> production of a second noise peer review report, and text changes to the ADEIR. Mr. Jeffrey Smith <br /> spent 40 hours of time on this task, for an out of scope cost of $5,290. <br /> Task 3 DEIR <br /> Task 3 included the preparation of the Draft EIR (DEIR). During the preparation of the DEIR, issues <br /> arose regarding the adequacy of water flow and water pressure for fire fighting and fire suppression <br /> purposes. RMT staff corresponded with the Redwood City Fire Department, City staff, and the project <br /> 4 West Fourth Avenue.
