Protection of Adjacent Property <br />Structures adjacent to property shall be protected. The City shall not be responsible for <br />any damages caused by Contractor. <br />Stockpiling of Equipment and Material <br />The contractor shall make all necessary arrangements for securing adequate and proper <br />places for storing materials and equipment. The Contractor shall obtain permission for <br />use of Department property before storing materials. The Department has limited space <br />available in the corporation yard. <br />Cleanup <br />Upon completion of each portion of the work, the site shall be cleaned of all debris and <br />construction equipment and shall be left in a neat condition to the satisfaction of the <br />Department and its designated representatives. <br />Written Report and Video Submittal <br />Following evaluation, cleaning and minor repair of the indicated water storage tanks, <br />Contractor shall prepare a written report. <br />For the five tanks needing inspection and cleaning, the report shall contain color <br />photographs from both the interior and exterior surfaces. The report shall summarized the <br />results of the visual inspections and sediment removal activities and contain detailed <br />recommendations for any safety, sanitary, or rehabilitation requirements along with <br />estimated costs. <br />For the repair of the internal ladder in the Wilmington tank, Contractor shall provide a one- <br />page summary of repairs with before and after photographs. <br />The Contractor shall supply one (1) printed copy of the report, one (1) electronic copy of <br />the report in PDF format, two (2) copies of photographs (in high-resolution JPEG format), <br />and videos shall be provided on USB flash drives. Alternatively, photographs taken may <br />be provided on two (2) copies of CD, and the video inspection of tanks may be provided <br />as two (2) copies of DVDs. <br />The Contractor shall provide copies of all aforementioned reports, photographs and <br />videos for each tank to Redwood City Public Works staff within 30 days of completion of <br />the cleaning, inspection and repair, and they shall become property of the Redwood City <br />Public Works Services Department. <br />II. PAYMENT TERMS <br />The total not -to -exceed contract amount is $24,823, as allocated below. <br />A. Cleaning, Inspection, & Report <br />Contractor will receive $16,800 for the cleaning, inspection, and reporting for the five <br />potable water storage tanks identified below.
