Protection of Adjacent Property Structures adjacent to property shall be protected. The City shall not be responsible for any damages caused by Contractor. Stockpiling of Equipment and Material The contractor shall make all necessary arrangements for securing adequate and proper places for storing materials and equipment. The Contractor shall obtain permission for use of Department property before storing materials. The Department has limited space available in the corporation yard. Cleanup Upon completion of each portion of the work, the site shall be cleaned of all debris and construction equipment and shall be left in a neat condition to the satisfaction of the Department and its designated representatives. Written Report and Video Submittal Following evaluation, cleaning and minor repair of the indicated water storage tanks, Contractor shall prepare a written report. For the five tanks needing inspection and cleaning, the report shall contain color photographs from both the interior and exterior surfaces. The report shall summarized the results of the visual inspections and sediment removal activities and contain detailed recommendations for any safety, sanitary, or rehabilitation requirements along with estimated costs. For the repair of the internal ladder in the Wilmington tank, Contractor shall provide a one- page summary of repairs with before and after photographs. The Contractor shall supply one (1) printed copy of the report, one (1) electronic copy of the report in PDF format, two (2) copies of photographs (in high-resolution JPEG format), and videos shall be provided on USB flash drives. Alternatively, photographs taken may be provided on two (2) copies of CD, and the video inspection of tanks may be provided as two (2) copies of DVDs. The Contractor shall provide copies of all aforementioned reports, photographs and videos for each tank to Redwood City Public Works staff within 30 days of completion of the cleaning, inspection and repair, and they shall become property of the Redwood City Public Works Services Department. II. PAYMENT TERMS The total not -to -exceed contract amount is $24,823, as allocated below. A. Cleaning, Inspection, & Report Contractor will receive $16,800 for the cleaning, inspection, and reporting for the five potable water storage tanks identified below.
