Red Morton Park Regional Stormwater Capture Project
Redwood City, CA
Task 1.3. Project Administration
The Consultant will provide the City with a written monthly progress report and phone call updates as requested
and needed for the course of the project. The progress reports will contain a summary of the expenditures to the
total contract, tracking of work performed, deliverables submitted, and planned activities for the upcoming
month.
A monthly invoice for work performed will be prepared and submitted for the work performed on the first day of
each month. The invoice will be included as part of the monthly progress report.
Task 1. Deliverables:
• Monthly Progress Reports and Invoices
• Meeting Materials. The Consultant will prepare agendas, meeting handouts/materials, and meeting
summary notes (including an action items list) for each in-person progress meeting after each design
submittal.
• Project Schedule and Updates. An initial schedule has been developed as a part of this proposal and
will be updated to act as the initial project schedule upon signature of contract. Through the course of
the project, an updated project schedule outlining the activities and milestones will be provided at each
progress meeting.
Task 2. Preliminary Studies
The Consultant will collect data as necessary to inform the preliminary design concept of the project. All data
received and researched through desktop analysis will be field verified as necessary.
Task 2.1. Records Research
The Consultant will conduct an investigation of the available records that the City of Redwood City may have to
verify the existence of any underlying encumbrances to Red Morton Community Park, the drainage culvert,
access and any future development of the park. All available maps, planning documents, park master plans,
engineering plans, and easements found will be shown on the existing site plan.
Task 2.2. Data Review
The Consultant will prepare a Data Collection Workplan outlining the studies anticipated to be requested and
reviewed. Said data may be consist of previous watershed studies, site specific hydrology and hydraulic studies,
received research material from Task 2.1, past topographic surveys, past community involvement, as well as
construction as-builts, other engineering studies, landscape plans, irrigation plans, planning and park master
plan documents for Red Morton Community Park.
Task 2.3. Survey
The project team will conduct a topographic survey and perform detailed investigations of the site in order to
allow the design team to understand above ground and potentially subsurface constraints that may limit the
project footprint. These items may include, but are not limited to, tree canopies, above ground infrastructure,
storm drain invert elevations, street centerlines, sidewalks and existing utilities, fences, and park amenities.
Field survey of the site will include invert elevation, pipe diameter and direction of flow for underground utilities,
tree trunk location and size, fences, sports amenities, field extents and surface characteristics, hardscapes,
vegetation, and above ground structures.
The topographic survey will be comprised of two major portions: ground survey and aerial photogrammetry. Two
days of field survey and one day to set aerial targets have been assumed to obtain supplemental survey data
that is obscured, as well as collect field invert data available. The Consultant will coordinate with the City of
Redwood City for access to the rectangular box culvert to collect the culvert inverts. The Consultant will place
and survey targets for the aerial survey.
The Consultant will provide the following products and services:
ATTY/AGR.2020.309/Craftwater Inc (Page 13 of 34)
