Bay Area Legal Aid provides free legal assistance to low- <br />income residents throughout the Bay Area. Funds requested are to provide free <br />assistance to self-represented domestic violence victims in San Mateo County <br />who are seeking to apply for a temporary restraining order through the San <br />Mateo County Domestic Violence Restraining Order Clinic located in Redwood <br />City. <br />Funding Requested: $15,000. Funding Recommended: $8,000. <br /> <br />Center for the Independence of the Disabled - Housing Advocacy. Through <br />their Housing Advocate, CID advocates for people with disabilities in Redwood <br />City to obtain subsidized housing. Funding Requested: $5,000. Funding <br />Recommended: $0. <br /> <br />CORA 24-Hour Crisis Hotline and Support Services. The 24 Hour Crisis <br />Hotline and Support Services provides 24-hour, year-round emergency <br />assistance to victims of domestic violence, as well as those in danger of <br />becoming victims of violence. Funding Requested: $25,000. Funding <br />Recommended: $15,000. <br /> <br />EI Centro de Libertad-SMART Proaram (Students Makina a Responsible <br />Transition}. The SMART Program is an in-school prevention education program <br />offered to youth attending either the County's court and community schools or <br />alternative programs for high-risk youth. Funding Requested: $10,000. Funding <br />Recommended: $0. <br /> <br />Familv Service Aaency Senior Dinina and Supportive Services. Fair Oaks <br />Interaenerational Center. Family Service Agency's program at the Fair Oaks <br />Intergenerational Senior Center provides basic services to promote the physical, <br />nutritional, emotional, social, and financial well being of seniors in the community. <br />Services include dining, transportation, health andwellness workshops, case <br />management, and a variety of other activities. Funding Requested: $25,000. <br />Funding Recommended: $18,000. <br /> <br />Fresh Lifelines for Youth. Inc (FLY). FLY is a nonprofit organization whose <br />mission is to prevent juvenile crime and incarceration through legal education, <br />mentoring, and leadership training. Funds requested are to provide legal <br />education and leadership training to Redwood City at-risk youth attending County <br />sponsored Community Schools in Redwood City and prevention programming to <br />
