An on-site contact from the POrt <br />is to be available if access to these areas is needed to remove any spectators that may have entered this area. <br /> <br />The pyrotechnic operator has the responsibility and authority to suspend, stop, or cancel the show at any <br />time if safety zone requirements are not met and maintained. <br /> <br />Use of the public access area of Seaport Court <br />The PCA will provide unifonned private security personnel to direct and monitor spectator activity in the <br />public viewing area at Seaport Court. Additional PCA volunteers will also on-site to monitor spectators and <br />to assist spectators with entry and exit of the area. <br /> <br />Additional lighting adjacent to the waterfront will also be provided at the end ofthe fireworks show to assist <br />in the safe exit of spectators from the area. <br /> <br />Notification to other a2encies <br />The PCA will assist the Redwood City Police Department with the notification to other local agencies that <br />may be affected by the fireworks display and any potential traffic impacts related to the show. <br /> <br />Train Operations <br />The PCA will notify the Union Pacific operations office and request that any rail movements scheduled for <br />July 4th be done before 6:00 pm and after 11 :00 pm. <br /> <br />City Services Requested (bv Department) <br /> <br />Public Works: <br />Provide traffic cones and street barricades for the Port Area, and other traffic diversion requirements <br />as determined by the Police Department. The PCA will provide a list of times, locations, and <br />quantity of barricades needed. <br /> <br />Public Safety: <br /> <br />Street Closures and Parking Restrictions <br />No street closures are being requested by the PCA for the fireworks show. Seaport Boulevard or <br />other local streets may be closed by the Police Department as needed to control the flow of vehicles <br />into the Port area. <br /> <br />Public parking in the Seaport Court area is limited and shared by the marina tenants, the Sequoia <br />Yacht Club, and the restaurants. The PCA is requesting the use of one-side (west-bound) curb <br />parking along Seaport Blvd fi'om Seaport Court to the entrance to Pacific Shores for additional <br />public parking.
