Irr <br /> March 2004, the City Council accepted the Task Force Report and directed staff to <br /> return with racommended action to implement. <br /> The Redwaod City Recycied Water Praject wili be implemented in phases and smaller, <br /> discrete prajects over the next several years, beginning with some recycied water <br /> delivery in the 2007 irrigation season. The major components of the Project are as <br /> foflows. <br /> 1. Treatment imarovements consisfing of fil#er moc��cations, chemical feed addition <br /> and frltered water line at the SBSA site — awned and aperated by South Bayside <br /> Sys#em Authority(SBSA), <br /> Status: 1�0°� complete and in service. <br /> 2. Disinfection facilitv consisting of new chlorine contact chambers at #he SBSA site — <br /> owned by the City and operated by SBSA. <br /> Status: 100% complete and in service. <br /> 3. Storage and pum�ing facilities located within the SBSA plant property (includes a <br /> back-up supply iine far potable water)—owned and aperated by fhe Cify. <br /> Status: 100% complete and in service. <br /> 4. Distributi�n svstem consisting ofi new transmission pipelines throughout the water <br /> service area, in street rights-of-ways—owned and apera#ed by the Cify. <br /> S#atus: Bid Packages 1, 2 and 3 are 10�°� constructed. Bid Packages 4 and 5 are <br /> each 9�°!o completed. Construction started on Bid Package 6 last manth. Bid <br /> Packages 8, and 9 will be avai[able far bidding wi#hin the next few months. <br />
