ATTACHMENT 1 6.3B <br /> Page 3 <br /> RESO�UTION NO. <br /> RESOIUTION CQNSENTtNG TO SAN MATEO COUNTY HEAl.TH <br /> OFFICER ENFORCEMENT WITH tN THE CITY OF HEALTH OFFICER <br /> ORDERS PROMULGATED PURSUANT TO STATUTE AND <br /> REGULATiON <br /> BE IT RES4LVED 8Y THE COUNCIL Of THE CtTY 4f REDWOOD CtTY, AS <br /> fOLL�WS: <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 101460 of the California Hea(th & Safety Code, <br /> every goveming body of a city sha(i appoint a health officer, except when the city has <br /> made other arrangements for the county to exercise the same powers and duties within <br /> the city, as a�e conferred upon city health officers by law; and <br /> WNEREAS, pursuant to Section 101375 of the California Health & Safety Code <br /> the governing body of a city in San Matea County may consent by resolution to the San <br /> Mateo County Heaith Officer enforcing in that city, arders and quarantine regulations <br /> prescribed by the department of Health 5ervices, other regulations issued under af the <br /> Health & Safety Code and all other sta#utes relating to#he public health; and <br /> WHEREAS, Redwood City has consented to the San Mateo County Health <br /> Officer performing these tasks for more #han 50 years and desires to have the San <br /> Mateo County Health Officer continue tfl do so; and <br /> WHEREAS, Redwood City desires ta reaffirm its consent in the form of a <br /> resolution this is uniform with those adopted by ai{ the cities within the County of San <br /> M ateo. <br /> NOW, THEREF4RE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL QF THE CITY <br /> OF REDW04D CITY, AS FOLI.OWS: <br /> 1. The City of Redwood City hereby consents ta the San Mateo County Health <br /> Officer enforcing and observing in that city, orders and quarantine regulations <br /> prescribed by the department of Health Ssrvices and the San Mateo County Heafth <br /> Department, a#her regulations issued under the Health & Safe#y Code and all other <br /> statutes and regulations relating ta the public heafth.
