Retrofits will occur as each property owner agrees to convert to <br />recycled water for landscape irrigation and industrial uses. <br />Status: Retrofit Bid Package 1 (18 commercial sites in the Redwood Shores area) <br />was 100% constructed in time to meet the demands of the 2007 irrigation season. <br />Retrofit Bid Package 2 is scheduled for completion in time to meet the demands of <br />the 2008 irrigation season. <br /> <br />The proposed customer site retrofit project is the second retrofit project designed to <br />expand the delivery of recycled water to new commercial irrigation and City roadway <br />landscape customers in Redwood Shores. The project consists of converting an <br />additional 41 existing irrigation systems from 17 sites, currently on drinking water, to <br />accommodate the use of recycled water. The City has issued a series of three Water Revenue Bonds to finance <br />Phase 1 of the Recycled Water Project. Currently available project funds, less <br />unattributed interest, total $12,623,130.06. <br />
