TASK 3: Project Management <br /> Project management services involve contract and project setup as well as monthly invoice <br /> processing and status reporting. Kennedy/Jenks will provide a brief status summary with each <br /> monthly billing invoice. <br /> Schedule <br /> The projected timeframe for these services extends from 25 February 2008 to 30 June 2008. <br /> Budget <br /> We have estimated a total project budget of$55,090. A detailed breakdown of our fee proposal <br /> is provided as an attachment to this letter. A summary of the fee proposal is provided in the <br /> following table. <br /> Budget Item Cost <br /> Task 1: As-Needed Startup Support Services $ 28,860 <br /> Task 2: Engineering Svcs for Warranty Mods $ 32,390 <br /> Task 3: Project Management $ 2,390 <br /> Subtotal $ 63,640 <br /> Charges to be carried by Kennedy/Jenks $ (8,550) <br /> Total $ 55,090 <br /> Charges carried by Kennedy / Jenks will not be billed to the City. We will track the hours <br /> associated with these charges and notify the City if effort is anticipated to exceed the hours to <br /> be borne by Kennedy/Jenks, as specified in this proposal. <br /> Hours will be tracked by Kennedy/Jenks, and the City will be notified when 80% of the agreed <br /> budget has been expended. If the City anticipates further scope beyond the agreed budget, <br /> Kennedy/Jenks will submit another proposal requesting authorization; no work will be conducted <br /> by Kennedy/Jenks beyond the agreed budget without written authorization from the City. <br /> We propose that compensation for our services be provided on a time and expense <br /> reimbursement basis, in accordance with the enclosed Schedule of Charges dated <br /> 1 January 2008. <br /> Terms and Conditions <br /> We anticipate that a new contract will be drawn up between the City and Kennedy/Jenks for this <br /> work and request that the new contract contain the language and provisions specified in the <br /> existing 3 September 2004 contract with Kennedy/Jenks. We will conduct the work identified in <br /> this letter proposal under the provisions of the City's contract with Kennedy/Jenks dated 3 <br /> September 2004. <br /> Agreement over$10K 14 <br /> City Attorney Approved Version 111803 <br />
