<br />Creek in the Port of Redwood City. Minor alterations to the parade route and <br />festival areas may be required to facilitate these events. Should alterations <br />be required, any change to the parade route and festival area locations will <br />be determined under the supervision and approval of the Police Ch ief or his <br />designee. <br /> <br />5. Dates and Times: The parade, festival, fun run, car show and fireworks <br />display shall be conducted on Friday, July 4, 2008. The parade staging <br />area, line-up area and route shall be reserved between 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. <br />The start time of the "Fun Run" will be 9:00 am and the parade will begin at <br />10:00 am. The car show area shall be reserved from 5:00 am until 5:00 pm <br />and will run from 8:00 am until approximately 4:30 pm. Court House Square <br />will be reserved for live musical entertainment from 11 :30 am until 5:00 pm. <br />Various bands will perform in Court House Square from 12:30 pm until 4:00 <br />pm. The fireworks display will begin at 9:30 pm and conclude at <br />approximately 10:00 pm. <br /> <br />The festival closure shall begin at 6:00 pm on Thursday, July 3, 2008 and <br />continue through 8:00 pm on Friday, July 4, 2008. This event shall be <br />conducted from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Wednesday, July 4th. <br /> <br />6. Insurance: Permittee shall provide the City commercial general liability <br />insurance coverage for any and all activities permitted hereunder in the <br />amount of $3,000,000 per occurrence and $4,000,000 aggregate, naming <br />the City, its City Council, commissions, committees, boards, officers, <br />employees, volunteers, and agents (collectively, the "City-insureds") as <br />insureds or additional insureds. If the City-insureds are covered as <br />additional insureds, the Permittee shall provide endorsements to the policy <br />which shall provide that: (i) said insurance shall be primary insurance with <br />respect to the City-insureds, (ii) apply separately to each insured against <br />whom claim is made or suit is brought, except with respect to the limits of the <br />insured's liability (cross liability endorsement), and (iii) name the City- <br />insureds as additional insureds. Permittee shall furnish evidence of such <br />insurance coverage in a form satisfactory to the City at least ten (10) days <br />prior to commencement of the event. <br /> <br />7. DamaQe to Public Property: Permittee shall reimburse the City for the <br />costs of any damages to City-owned property in the vicinity of the designated <br />areas, caused by or arising out of the conducting of the event permitted <br />hereunder, or the acts or omissions to act of persons participating in said <br />event. All signs or other markings placed in or upon public property, <br />including the public right-of-way in connection with said event, shall be <br />removed immediately following said event. <br /> <br />8. Compliance With Laws: Permittee shall comply with all appropriate and <br />applicable rules, regulations, and laws in connection with the conducting of <br /> <br />2 <br />
