said event or any and all activities associated therewith; This permit shall be
in addition to all other permits that are or may be required for conducting this
event, or any associated activity. Specifically, Permittee or any other
individual event participant shall be responsible for obtaining all necessary
State Alcohol and Beverage Control permits and San Mateo County Health
permits. Permittee shall also be responsible for obtaining all necessary City,
County and State permits necessary for the fireworks display.

9. Hold Harmless: Permittee shall assume the defense of and indemnify and
save harmless the City, its City Council, officers, boards, commissions,
employees, volunteers, and agents from all suits, actions, damages, or
claims to which the City may be subjected of any kind or nature whatsoever,
resulting from or arising out of the performance or failure to perform of
Permittee hereunder, or otherwise arising from or arising out of said event or
any activities herein permitted.

10. City Services: Except as otherwise noted, the City agrees to provide those
services requested in the letter dated March 28, 2008, in furtherance of the
activities herein permitted.

Specifically, the City agrees to provide the following services:

Parks and Recreation:
(a) Deliver available bleachers to Arguello Street adjacent to 801 Brewster
prior to and pick up after the Parade. (The PCA will provide location
marking for the bleachers).

Public Works:
(a) Provide two street sweepers at approximately 10:00 am to pick up
horse droppings along the parade route and the designated horse
lineup areas. Street sweeping is also requested for the festival area at
approximately 7:00 pm after the festival has closed on July 4th. Street
sweeping in the festival area will be delayed until 7:00 pm to allow
vendors to complete their breakdown and leave the area.

(b) Provide traffic cones and street barricades for the fun run, parade,
festival, car show, fireworks areas and other traffic diversion
requirements as determined by the Police Department. Delivery time,
location, quantity and type of PCA requested barricades for the July 4th
events shall be listed in an appendix to be provided.

(c) Install American flags along the parade route immediately prior to the
parade. On July 4th, the flags are to be removed immediately following
the parade to reduce the possibility of theft.

3
