<br />2. <br /> <br />3. <br />4. <br />5. <br /> <br />Requesting the County to consolidate the election with the statewide <br />general election; <br />Setting forth the ballot question as it will appear on the ballot; <br />Setting forth the relevant election calendar for ballot arguments; <br />Determining whether the full text of the initiative should be included in the <br />ballot pamphlet; <br />Instructing the City Attorney to prepare the impartial analysis of the <br />initiative; and <br />Instructing the City Clerk to provide all election notices required by law <br />and file the resolution with the County. <br /> <br />7A <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />The County has determined the following relevant dates for the November election: <br /> <br />August 8: Last day to call election and submit request for consolidation with County; <br /> <br />August 15: Primary arguments for/against initiative are due (300 word limit); <br /> <br />August 25: Rebuttal arguments for/against initiative are due (250 word limit), and City <br />Attorney's impartial analysis is due (500 word limit) <br /> <br />August 25 to <br />September 4: 1 D-day inspection period <br /> <br />In addition, City Council has the right to author the argument against the initiative. <br />(Elec. Code, 99282(a).) <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The San Mateo County Elections Office's cost for doing a full review of the signatures <br />was $5,711.24.
