<br />UttIItt-h; <br /> <br />Redwood City Glenwood Pump Station <br /> <br />RMC Water and Environment <br />Proposed Scope of Services <br />March 17,2008 <br /> <br />Task 1- Project Management <br /> <br />Subtask i.i-Prepare and Update Workplan <br />After receiving notice to proceed and prior to beginning project work, RMC will prepare <br />a workplan which identifies the steps to complete the project, key decision points, contact <br />infonnation and protocol and other similar items. RMC will update this workplan as <br />required during the course of the project. <br /> <br />Subtask i.2 - Project Controls <br />RMC will maintain project schedule and will track budget in Microsoft Excel and/or <br />RMC~s internal accounting system. Monthly progress reports, in bullet format, will <br />accompany monthly invoices and will describe progress completed during the billing <br />period, issues encountered during the period, and planned activities for next billing <br />period. Progress reports will include budget and schedule updates. Budget will be <br />tracked at the task level according to the task structure outlined herein. <br /> <br />Subtask 1.3 - Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) <br />RMC will adhere to its intemal QA/QC protocol, which includes regular review of work <br />products, senior review of all work product deliverables ( design packages) and auditing <br />of project progress against project schedule, budget, and project goals. <br /> <br />Subtask i.4 - Meetings <br />In addition to the workshops included in the tasks above, RMC will attend up to six <br />project meetings to discuss schedule, status, bl.ldget, the project workplan, or other <br />project-related items. Sub consultants are not anticipated to attend all meetings. Level of <br />effort is estimated as shown in the fee estimate. Meetings are assumed to be held at City <br />offices, and are assumed to include the following: <br /> <br />. Project Kick-Off Meeting <br />. Preliminary Design Review Meeting <br />. 65% Design Review Meeting <br />. 100% Final Design Review Meeting <br />. Pre-Bid Meeting <br />. Pre-Construction Meeting <br /> <br />Deliverables: <br />. Monthly status reports <br />. Monthly invoices <br />
