. Meeting agendas and minutes

Task 2 - Surveying and Utilities Research

RMC will obtain utility information from the City and private utilities. It is assumed that
the City will make available all utility data for City-owned infrastructure (water,
wastewater, landscaping, communications), and that private utilities will include PG&E
(gas and electricity), as well as local cable and telecommunications providers. RMC will
review this information to obtain approximate locations of utility conflicts within the
project area.

No surveying or potholing are included in this Scope of Services. It is assumed that the
City will provide surveying and topographic mapping (AutoCAD format), and that this
survey data will accurately record the location of all above ground surface features,
structures and utilities. RMC does not foresee a need to pothole for existing subsurface
utilities.

Deliverables:
. Utility basemap (Auto CAD), using City-provided topographic map as a base, for
the project site

Task 3 - Preliminary Design (30% Design Submittal)

The goal of this task is to develop and evaluate the conceptual design alternatives,
developing consensus with City staff for the recommend project components to be carried
forward into detailed design. These aItemative will be based on a full understanding of
the history ofthe Glenwood Pump Station as well as the CUll'ent configuration and
condition of the station. A hydraulic analysis will also be completed to assess the
station's ability to meet the City's short-term and 10ng-telID operational goals.

Subtask 3.1 - Revielv Existing Information
RMC will review existing information regarding the pump station (construction
documents, operational data, maintenance history, distribution system maps) to build a
firm understanding of the pump station's operation as it relates to the water system as a
whole.

RMC will hold a workshop with City staff, followed by a site visit to the pump station
site (and other sites, as appropriate). The goal of the meeting and site visit will be to
obtain information regarding issues with the pump station, obtain operator input
regarding the objectives for the proposed improvements, and to assess the condition of
equipment and piping associated with the station.
