<br />SWC:djg-c 9/24/81 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />8971 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />SEP 2 8 1981 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF A <br />CA11.ERA PROCESSING SYSTEN; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEHENT THEREOF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 8947, adopted August 24, <br /> <br />1981, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of a camera <br /> <br />processing system to be used for municipal purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ITEK Graphic Products, Burlingame, California is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipment, and <br /> <br />it is the intention of this Council to award said bid to ITEK Graphic <br /> <br />Products; <br /> <br />NOWrTHEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of ITEK Graphic Products, in the total lump sum amount <br /> <br />of Sixteen Thousand Five Hundred Five and No/IOO Dollars ($16,505.00) <br /> <br />for the furnishing of an ITEK 530 Graphic System , with a maintenance <br /> <br />contract at an annual cost of $1,325.00, in accordance with the bidder's <br /> <br />proposal, and in accordance with the specifications therefor on file <br /> <br />in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said bidder <br /> <br />is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for <br /> <br />the furnishing of said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement <br /> <br />I <br />with ITEK Graphic Products for the furnishing of the above mentioned <br /> <br />equipment in accordance with, and subject to, the terms and conditions <br /> <br />of the aforementioned specifications and in accordance with the <br /> <br />aforementioned bidder's proposal. <br /> <br />3.
