<br />available to persons with disabilities on an equivalent basis with
<br />those received by non-disabled persons. Contractor shall agree to
<br />be in compliance with Section 504 requirements by developing a
<br />plan for compliance to be submitted to the Section 504 Coordinator
<br />as soon as possible but not later than by the close of escrow for this
<br />acquisition.
<br />
<br />B. Affirmative Action.
<br />
<br />1. Contractor certifies that it is in compliance with the Equal
<br />Employment Opportunity Requirements of Executive Order No
<br />11246, as amended by Executive Order No 1375, Title VII of the
<br />Civil Rights Act of 1964, the California Fair Employment Practices
<br />Act and any other federal or state laws pertaining to equal
<br />employment opportunity, and that it will not discriminate against any
<br />employee or applicant for employment or opportunity to purchase
<br />the dwelling to be built on the "property." on the basis of race,
<br />religion, color, national origin, ancestry, sex, age, physical or mental
<br />disability, marital status, sexual preference, or political affiliation in
<br />matters pertaining to occupancy, hiring, training, upgrading,
<br />transfers, compensation or termination.

<br />C. Fair Emplovment Practices
<br />
<br />1. In the performance of this contract, the Contractor agrees to
<br />not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment
<br />because of race, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, sex, age,
<br />physical or mental disability, marital status, sexual preference, or
<br />political affiliation. The contractor agrees to take affirmative action to
<br />ensure that applicants are employed, and that employees are
<br />treated during employment, without regard to their race, religion,
<br />color, national origin, ancestry, sex, age, physical or mental
<br />disability, marital status, sexual preference, or political affiliation.
<br />Such action shall include, but not be limited to the following:
<br />employment, upgrading, demotion or transfers; recruitment or
<br />recruitment advertising; layoff or termination; rates of payor other
<br />forms of compensation; and selection for training, including
<br />apprenticeship. The Contractor agrees to post in conspicuous
<br />places, available to employees and applicants for employment,
<br />notices to be provided by the City of Redwood City setting forth the
<br />provisions of this Fair Employment Practices section.
<br />
<br />2. The Contractor agrees to permit access to his records of
<br />employment, employment advertisements, application forms, and
<br />other pertinent data and records by the State Fair Employment
<br />Practices Commission, or any other agency of the State of California
