In just under four months, half of the
city's 2,300 employees have taken the 10 minute course. 'We hope they get an understanding of what the city is doing related to
sustain ability, that they feel inspired to support and participate in the initiative and get a sense of
awareness of how their every day actions contribute to environmental conservation," said
Schmidt.

City staff have encouraged community members to take advantage of the training. There were
press releases and stories published in the Pasadena Journal and featured in the city newsletter,
In Focus, that reaches 146,000 residents. They are also working with Pasadena Water & Power
and the local Chamber of Commerce to notify the public about this resource.

For more information abOut the online training program visit Pasadena's Green Web site.

Find a Bill, Legislators, Leg Committee, or Ask League Leg Staff

Visit (and bookmark!) the League's Leaislative Resources Web page
(www.cadties.orQJIearesources).
