A. Approve warrants dated through June 9, 2008 and usual and necessary payments <br /> through June 16, 2008. (303) Minute Order 08-110 <br /> M/S Ira/Bain to waive reading of the Consent Calendar except the ordinances by title, adopt <br /> the resolutions and the ordinances, and approve other items. The motion passed by a <br /> unanimous roll call vote. <br /> 6. SPECIAL ORDERS: <br /> A. Presentation: Swearing-In Ceremony — Peter Ingram, City Manager, by City Clerk <br /> Vonderlinden. <br /> Mayor Foust, on behalf of community and Council, congratulated Mr. Ingram on his <br /> position and expressed the Council's joy in its decision. <br /> City Manager Ingram echoed the Mayor's comments and said he knows it will be a <br /> fulfilling experience in continuing to work with the Council and the community. <br /> B. Recognition of Redwood City's First Three Green Business Program-Certified <br /> Businesses — Malcolm Smith, Public Communications Manager, by Mayor Foust, <br /> who reiterated what these three businesses did in compliance with green <br /> considerations, and thanked these businesses for their efforts as frontrunners. <br /> Awards were presented to DES Architects, Harvvood Homebuilders and Kastrop <br /> Group (Lorianna and Michael received the award). <br /> C. Redwood City's Partnership Academy for Community Teamwork (PACT) <br /> graduation. Mayor Foust and Vice Mayor Howard presented awards and Council <br /> shook hands and congratulated those who completed the academy.
