'\. <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />t4- .- . <br /> <br />SEVENTH: <br /> <br />The grantee of this franchise, its successors or <br /> <br />assigns, in the construction and operation of said railway <br />will use all necessary and proper precaution to the traveling <br />public~ and conform to all Ordinances of said Town of Redwood <br />City, and Laws of the State of California relative to doing <br />work on public streets. <br /> <br />EIGHTH: <br /> <br />That the grantee of this franchise, its succeS6- <br /> <br />ors or assigns, will permit the owners or lessees of any <br />property fronting along the line of said railway, or tributary <br />thereto, to connect with the tracks of said railway, upon the <br />payment of a reasonable proportion of the amount of maintenance <br />and original cost, subject however, to such rules, regulations <br />and conditions as the said grantee, its successors or assigns <br />may make and establish from time to time for the operation of <br />said railway . <br />In case the grantee of this franchise, its successors <br />and assigns, are unable to agree with any person desiring to <br />connect with said railway, upon the terms upon which said connection <br />can be made, the matter shall be referred to the Board of Trustees <br />of the Town of Redwood City for decision, which decision shall be <br />binding upon all parties interested therein . <br /> <br />NINTH: <br /> <br />The work of oonstructing said double track railway <br /> <br />shall be completed within not more than Ten (10) years from the <br />date hereof: provided however, that the said grantee, its <br />successors and assigns may consider the s~ngle track now <br />constructed along the streets over which this franchise is <br />
