<br />. <br /> <br />\> <br />\". ~ <br /> <br />0- <br /> <br />If the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City <br />change the offi9ial grade of any street or streets upon which has <br />been laid the road bed and rails of said railway , the said grantee <br />of this franohise, its suocessors or assigns, shall, at its or their <br />expense, raise or lower said road bed and rails to oonform to said <br />raised or lowered grade. <br />All the foregoing mentioned work to be done to the <br />satisfaction of the Board of Trustees of t~e Town of Redwood City. <br /> <br />FIFTH: <br /> <br />Said grantee, its sucoessors and assigns, shall construot <br /> <br />all necessary flumes and culverts for the free passage of surface <br />water under the traoks of said railway wherever and whenever neoes- <br />sary, and all such oulverts and flumes shall be oonstruoted in aocord- <br />ance with plans and specifioations approved by the Town Engineer and <br />the Board of Trustees of said Town of Redwood City. <br />Said grantee, its suocessors or assigns, shall have the <br />right to excavate and remove such portions of the streets oocupied <br />or to be occupied by its tracks as may be necessary to properly <br />construot said railway, provided however, that if said grantee, <br />its successors or assigns, shall in constructing said railway, or <br />any part thereof, or any of the appurtenanoes thereunto belonging, <br />cut or injure any sewer, underground aqueduot or pipe line on or <br />under said streets, the same shall be repaired and left in as good <br />condition as formerly by said grantee, its successors or assigns, <br /> <br />at its or their own expense. <br /> <br />SIXTH: The Town of Redwood City in granting this franchise <br />reserves the right to pave, macadamize, renew or sewer any of the <br /> <br />_L___....L._ _______J_...!I ..___ __J...!I __-'.._____~ <br />
