SEVENTH: The grantee of this franchise , its suocessors or <br /> assigns, in the construction and operation of a . . railway <br /> will use all necessary and proper precaution to the traveling <br /> public , and conform to all rd.inanoes of said Town of ed oo . <br /> City, and Laws of the State of California relative to doing <br /> work on puhilo streets . <br /> EIGHTH: That the grantee of this franchise, its success- <br /> ors or assigns, i l l permit the owners or lessees o any <br /> property <br /> fronting along the line of said railway, or tributary <br /> thereto, to connect with the tracks of said railway, upon the <br /> payment of <br /> a reasonable proportion of the amount of maintenance <br /> and original <br /> cost, subject however, to such rules, regulations <br /> ns as the said grantee, its successors or assigns <br /> and conditions g <br /> may ae and establish from time to time for the operation of <br /> said railway <br /> g <br /> I case the grantee of this franchise, its successors <br /> and assigns, are unable to agree with any person desiring to <br /> connect with said railway, upon the terms upon which said connection <br /> Gan e made, the matter shall be referred to the Board of Trustees <br /> of the Town of <br /> Redwood City for decision, which decision shall be <br /> bindin g upon on all parties interested therein <br /> NINTH: The work of constructing said double track railway <br /> shall be completed within not more than Ten (10) years from the <br /> date hereof : provided however, that the said grantee, its <br /> successors and assigns may consider the single track now <br /> constructed along alo the streets over which this franchise is <br /> granted, <br /> as one of the tracks of said steam railway: and pro- <br /> vided <br /> further, that if said grantee, its successors or assigns , <br /> do not construct t said second track for which this franchise is <br /> 4. <br />
