Every aspect of the Redwood City cost allocation plan process will be completely <br />transparent to City staff. As part of that commitment, the City will annually receive the <br />following project deliverables: <br /> <br />.:. At least three annual trips to Redwood City for meetings, workshops, interviews, and <br />presentations related to the cost allocation plan. In reality, our staff is at the City on at <br />least a monthly basis throughout the year. As we have proven in the past, the City will <br />never feel a lack of MGT's on-site presence. Also, your cost allocation plan preparation <br />will not be shipped out of state. The experts who meet with your City will also be <br />responsible for creating your plan right here in California. <br /> <br />.:. A draft OMB A-8? cost allocation plan using a double step-down allocation <br />methodology based on the City's year-end financial records and interviews with City <br />personnel. <br /> <br />.:. A final OMB A-8? cost allocation plan using a double step down methodology based on <br />the City's year-end financial records and interviews with City personnel. <br /> <br />.:. Customized management report based on the final OMB A-8? cost allocation plan. This <br />management report will include the following information: <br /> <br />III <br /> <br />A comparison to the last cost allocation plan to identify major variances of allocated <br />costs to key receiving departments. <br /> <br />The per-unit costs of specific administrative and support activities. <br /> <br />Variance analysis of costs or allocations. <br /> <br />Explanations of fluctuations from prior years. <br /> <br />III <br /> <br />III <br /> <br />II <br /> <br />.:. Up to five printed and bound copies of the final OMB A-8? cost allocation plan and one <br />electronic (Excel and/or PDF) copy. <br /> <br />.:. Negotiation of the cost allocation plan with State and/or Federal oversight authorities. <br /> <br />.:. Assist the City respond to audit inquiries of the final OMB A-8? cost allocation plan. <br /> <br />.:. Coordinate, gather and/or complete all required forms, documents and reports as <br />required by the State Controller's Office applicable to submission of the cost allocation <br />plan. <br /> <br />.:. Provide and review with select City personnel written recommendations that specify <br />areas of improvement in gathering data, reviewing data with City personnel, and <br />allocating identified allowable costs. <br /> <br />Additionally, provide information related to areas of improvement in future years, <br />availability of customized reports and identification of additional applications for the cost <br />allocation plan. <br /> <br />MGT <br /> <br />15 <br /> <br />OF AMEiliCA.
