<br />EXHIBIT "A" - CONTINUED <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES - DETAILED TASK LIST <br /> <br />Task 1: Strategic Planning <br /> <br />Throughout the course of the project, Farallon will work with City staff to continually evaluate and <br />reassess priorities, and deliver a series of requested recommendations pertaining to organization <br />structure, internal business processes, and technical configuration of the system. <br /> <br />. Final System Component Recommendations <br /> <br />. Recommendations on raster storage <br /> <br />. Business Process Analysis and Recommendations <br /> <br />. Integration with SMC Analysis and Recommendations <br /> <br />Task 2: System Design and Deployment <br /> <br />Under this task, Farallon will install and configure the agreed-upon server-side enterprise GIS software on <br />the City's GIS server. We expect software components to include: <br /> <br />. SQL Server 2005, Standard Edition <br /> <br />. ArcGIS Server, Enterprise Edition, Standard <br /> <br />Farallon will provide the City with detailed setup documentation that illustrates the installation process and <br />outlines key configuration details such as usernames and passwords. <br /> <br />Assumptions: <br />. City IT staff will physically install the server, and configure the core operating system <br />. Farallon will have access to appropriate City computer network resources, and IT <br />staff <br /> <br />Tasks 3: Data Model Design and Installation <br /> <br />Farallon will design a data models to support key GIS features. We expect the majority of the data <br />modeling work to be related to utilities' features. We will also document the schemas for other enterprise <br />features such as parcels and street centerlines. <br /> <br />Part of the data model development process will include identifying business rules that define valid GIS <br />data content. The data model itself will enforce these business rules, and reject the input of data that do <br />not meet the rules deployed in the database. <br /> <br />Deliverables include: <br /> <br />. Database Design Diagram outlining key geodatabase feature interactions, business <br />rules, and attribute schemas <br /> <br />. Data models developed and deployed to City GIS server <br /> <br />Assumptions: <br /> <br />. City can provide GIS-side data model requirements for anticipated Asset <br />Management software <br /> <br />. City GIS staff will demonstrate current geodata maintenance workflows <br /> <br />Agreement over $1 OK <br />City Attorney Approved Version 111803 <br /> <br />11 <br />
