<br />(2) Compliance of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as
<br />amended, requires that all benefits, aids and services are made
<br />available to persons with disabilities on an equivalent basis with
<br />those received by non-disabled persons CHDO shall agree to be in
<br />compliance with Section 504 requirements by developing a plan for
<br />compliance to be submitted to the Section 504 Coordinator as soon
<br />as possible but not later than by the issuance of building permits for
<br />the Cedar Street Apartment construction.
<br />
<br />B. Affirmative Action.
<br />
<br />CHDO certifies that it is in compliance with the Equal Employment
<br />Opportunity Requirements of Executive Order No 11246, as amended by
<br />Executive Order No 11375, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the California
<br />Fair Employment and Housing Act and any other federal or state laws pertaining
<br />to equal employment opportunity, and that it will not discriminate against any
<br />employee or applicant for employment or opportunity to purchase the dwelling to
<br />be built on the "property." on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin,
<br />ancestry, sex, age, physical or mental disability, marital status, sexual
<br />preference, or political affiliation in matters pertaining to occupancy, hiring,
<br />training, upgrading, transfers, compensation or termination.

<br />c. Fair Emplovment Practices
<br />
<br />(1) In the performance of this contract, the CHDO agrees to not
<br />discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment
<br />because of race, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, sex, age,
<br />physical or mental disability, marital status, sexual preference, or
<br />political affiliation. The CHDO agrees to take affirmative action to
<br />ensure that applicants are employed, and that employees are
<br />treated during employment, without regard to their race, religion,
<br />color, national origin, ancestry, sex, age, physical or mental
<br />disability, marital status, sexual preference, or political affiliation.
<br />Such action shall include, but not be limited to the following:
<br />employment, upgrading, demotion or transfers; recruitment or
<br />recruitment advertising; layoff or termination; rates of payor other
<br />forms of compensation; and selection for training, including
<br />apprenticeship. The CHDO agrees to post in conspicuous places,
<br />available to employees and applicants for employment, notices to
<br />be provided by the City of Redwood City setting forth the provisions
<br />of this Fair Employment Practices section.
<br />
<br />(2) The CHDO agrees to permit access to its records of employment,
<br />employment advertisements, application forms, and other pertinent
<br />data and records by the State Fair Employment Practices
