<br />.j <br /> <br /> <br />City of Redwood City Housing and Redevelopment Division <br />February 6, 2009 (Proposal No. 09.027) <br /> <br />LABORATORY TESTING <br /> <br />Selected soil and groundwater samples will be submitted to a state-certified chemical <br />laboratory and analyzed for some or all of the following: <br /> <br />. Total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg) and MTBE using EPA Method <br />8015m/8021/8260b; <br /> <br />. Total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel (TPHd) and motor oil (TPHmo) using EPA <br />Method 8015m with silica-gel cleanup; <br /> <br />. Chlorinated pesticides using EPA Method 8081 a; <br /> <br />. Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) using EPA Method 8260b; <br /> <br />. Asbestos using EPA Method CARB 435; <br /> <br />. 17 Title 22 metals using EPA Method 6010/7000; and/or <br /> <br />. Total Lead using EPA Method 6010. <br /> <br />DATA ANALYSES AND REPORT PREPARATION <br /> <br />Fugro will compile the analytical results, compare them to the appropriate soil and <br />groundwater criteria listed in the Environmental Screening Level (ESL) Guidance Document <br />published by the Regional Water Quality Control Board, as well as the criteria listed in the <br />California Human Health Screening Levels (CHHSL) Guidance Document published by the <br />California Environmental Protection Agency, and prepare a summary report of our findings. The <br />report will include a site plan, logs of borings, laboratory analytical data with chain-of-custody <br />documents, and discussion of our findings and our conclusions regarding potential impacts of <br />chemicals of concern to future construction workers and residential occupants of the planned <br />redevelopment. <br /> <br />A total of three hard copies of the report, as well as a PDF copy, will be submitted to the <br />City. Draft copies of the reports are not proposed as part of the current proposed scope of <br />work. <br /> <br />FEE ESTIMATE <br /> <br />We will perform our services on a time and materials basis for a fee of $14,900, based <br />on the specific work scope outlined above.
