Conduct a Public Hearing pursuant to Government Code Sections 4217.11 <br /> through 4217.17. <br /> 2. By Resolution, approve an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2008-09 Capital <br /> Improvement Program to add an "Energy Lighting RetrofiY' project, <br /> appropriating funding from the unbudgeted fund balance of the Capital <br /> Improvement Projects into the Capital Project Funds in the amount of <br /> $250,000.00. <br /> RESOLUTION No. 74902 AMENDING THE 2008-09 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT <br /> PROGRAM BUDGET TO CREATE AND FUND A$250,000 ENERGY LIGHTING <br /> RETROFIT PROJECT AND APPROVE AN ENERGY SERVICE CONTRACT WITH <br /> RC CONSTRUCTION <br /> 3. Authorize the execution of an energy services contract with RC Construction to <br /> retrofit light fixtures in sixteen City owned facilities for $201,712 and authorize <br /> the City Manager to increase the contract amount, if necessary, up to 15% of <br /> the amount awarded. (304) <br /> Gary Hover, presented the report, and he explained this is a lighting retrofit project and the <br /> savings it entails. <br /> Mayor Foust opened the public hearing. There was no public comment. <br /> M/S Howard/Hartnett to close the public hearing. Motion carries unanimously by voice <br /> vote. <br /> M/S Ira/Aguirre to approve the recommendation. Motion carries unanimously by roll <br /> call vote. <br /> 9. MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST <br /> A. Legislation (information only) - This sub-section involves possible discussion of <br /> City Position on Proposed Legislation described in the League of California Cities <br /> Priority Focus Bulletin No. 35-2008, 36-2008, 37-2008, and 38-2008.
