<br />This proposal also assumes that the client will contract for and provided detailed engineer <br />level design documents and plans, as needed. <br /> <br />Task 2. Coordinate DMMO Permit Approval Process. HBG will coordinate with the Corps <br />and the RWQCB, as necessary, during the preparation and submittal of the dredging project <br />permit application and review of the application by relevant agencies. HBG will prepare <br />responses to comments, provide negotiation of permit conditions and facilitate the permit <br />signature process. This proposal assumes that 80 hours of time plus expenses are necessary for <br />this Task. <br /> <br />Task 3. Prepare Endangered Species Consultation Documentation. HBG will prepare <br />documents necessary to initiate a consultation with the USFWS and N:MFS pursuant to Section 7 <br />of the Endangered Species Act and related to potential impacts to federally-listed species that <br />could result from the project. These documents are to include a draft Corps letter requesting the <br />Section 7 consultation and a Biological Resources Assessment report. This proposal assumes <br />that 40 hours of time plus expenses are necessary for this Task. <br /> <br />Task 4. Prepare Essential Fish Habitat Consultation Documentation. HBG will prepare <br />documents necessary to initiate an EFH consultation with the NMFS. These documents are to <br />include a draft Corps letter requesting the EFH consultation, an Essential Fish Habitat <br />Assessment report. This proposal assumes that 30 hours of time plus expenses are necessary for <br />this Task. <br /> <br />Task 5. Coordinate Section 7 Consultations with USFWS and NMFS. HBG will conduct <br />necessary coordination with agency representatives as well as represent the client at agency <br />meetings that may be scheduled. This proposal assumes that 40 hours of time plus expenses are <br />necessary for this Task. <br /> <br />Task 6. CEQA Process Assistance. HBG will assist in matters pertaining to the evaluation of <br />biological resources included within the CEQA documentation that will be prepared. Task will <br />be performed on an as-needed basis and are to include items such as preparation of a biological <br />resources assessment, document review, preparation of comment letters, responses to comments <br />on behalf of the applicant, and participation in public hearings, as required. This proposal <br />assumes that 4 hours of time plus expenses are necessary for this Task. <br /> <br />Task 7. Client Coordination. HBG will coordinate with client and representatives regarding <br />project status and needs related to the above work phases on an as-needed basis through <br />telephone calls, meetings, and written documentation. HBG will also assist client with strategy <br />regarding agency permitting and negotiation of permit conditions. HBG will coordinate all <br />aspects of permit approval with the client. and/or designated representative. This proposal <br />assumes that 16 hours of time plus expenses are necessary for this Task. <br /> <br />Task 8. Agency Filing Fees. HBG will determine agency filing fee amounts for the application <br />to the DMMO and inform the client when such fees are to be paid. Payment of fees will be due <br />at the time of application to the DMMO.
