Evora - Project Engineer <br />Community Development Services Dept. <br />Engineering & Constroction <br />1017 Middlefield Road <br />Redwood City, CA 94063 <br /> <br />RE: SURVEYINGIENGINEERING BASE MAP SERVICES FOR MANZANITA <br />STREET SEWER REPLACEMENT PROJECT. <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Evora, <br /> <br />Thank you for the opportunity to submit this second revised proposal to provide <br />professional land-surveying services for the above-referenced project The boundaries of <br />the survey work are described in your revised request-for-proposal dated February 24, <br />2009. As discussed with Jimmy Tan, the survey route will not include the areas over <br />Woodside Road and its on-off ramps at Manzanita Way and HeUer Street. We will only <br />survey the west side ofE] Camino Real up to the westerly curb line oft11e median. <br /> <br />SCOPE OF WORK - The scope of work will be as follows: <br /> <br />.1. Ground Survey: The topographic survey will include all physical features within <br />the project areas including, but not limited to: <br /> <br />Curb and gutter, sidewalks, driveways, railroad tracks, trees within the <br />.. <br />planting strip, fences, manholes, ~ter valve boxes, water meter boxes, anode <br />boxes, gas valve boxes, traffic signal boxes, street light boxes, monuments, <br />fire hydrants, catch basins, drain inlets, cleanouts, utility vaults, electric and <br />telephone poles, cable TV lines, gas lines, loop detectors, traffic sign posts <br />and street lights. <br />- Manholes rim and invert elevations, manhole pipe inverts and top of pipe, <br />pipe diameters, drain inlets bottom, drain inlets pipe inverts and top of pipe <br />and catch basin grate elevations. <br />- All property lines or lot. boundaries, right-of-way lines and house addresses <br />(approximate from City Block Book), water and gas services, and sewer <br />laterals. <br /> <br />2. Base map will be completed with an AutoCAD version readable by AutoCAD <br />2004, on a plan/profile template with the Redwood City title block at a scale of 1" <br />= 20'.
