<br />Public Works: <br />Provide traffic cones and street barricades for the Port Area, and other traffic diversion requirements <br />as determined by the Police Department. The PCA will provide a list of times, locations, and <br />quantity of barricades needed. <br /> <br />q1B <br />Attach~~317 <br /> <br />Support from the Port of Redwood City <br /> <br />The Port will notify all tenants, contractors, and vendors of this restriction. An on-site contact from the Port <br />is to be available if access to these areas is needed to remove any spectators that may have entered this area. <br /> <br />Temporary berthing at the Port for the fireworks barge is needed between 4:00 pm and 9:00 pm for <br />inspection by the Redwood City Fire Department. Temporary berthing at the Port would be needed between <br />4:00 pm and 9:00 pm for inspection by the Redwood City Fire Department. The barge will also need to tie <br />up to a wharf for inspection after the show. Access to the barge by authorized fIreworks personnel for the <br />pre-show inspections and equipment removal after the show will be required. <br /> <br />The Blue Public Fishing Pier is to be closed on July 4th from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm and the PCA will have a <br />unifom1ed security officer at that location to monitor access- to the <br /> <br />As was done in previous years, the Port will provide portable toilets in the parking lots. The Port will also <br />provide sufficient temporary trash containers to support the outside restaurant food and beverage sales, a <br />dumpster (debris bin), and assistance with cleanup of the public viewing area at Seaport Court. <br /> <br />We appreciate the cooperation and goodwill extended by the City of Redwood City and the Port of Redwood <br />~ity to the Peninsula Celebration Association. The mutual coordination of this annual event benefits the entire <br />Redwood City Community.
