They will also monitor the arrival of any cralt <br />that needs to transit the area to ensure the craft will clear the safety zone prior to the start of the show. <br /> <br />No shore spectators will be pemlitted in the industrial area between Wharf #4 and Wharf #5. The <br />pyrotechnic operator has the responsibility and authority to suspend, stop, or cancel the show at any time if <br />safety zone or other requirements are not met or maintained. <br /> <br />Soectators in the Port area <br />There is limited public access and parking in the Port area for spectators to view the fireworks display. The <br />PCA will not be responsible for the management of public or private property that may be open to spectator <br />access. Where public access is allowed along the shoreline at Seaport Court, the PCA will provide <br />uniformed private security personnel to help direct spectators to/from this area. <br /> <br />Where appropriate, the PCA will provide temporary lighting adjacent to the public shoreline access area at <br />the end of the fireworks show to assist in the safe exit of spectators from the area. <br /> <br />Notification to other ae:encies <br />The PCA will assist the Redwood City Police Department with the notification to other local agencies that <br />m.ay be affected by the fireworks display and any potential traffic impacts related to the show. <br /> <br />City Services Requested (bv Ueoartment) <br /> <br />Public Safetv: <br /> <br />Street Closures and Access to the Port Area <br />No street closures are being requested by the PCA for the fireworks show. Seaport Boulevard or <br />other local streets may be closed by the Police Department as needed to maintain public safety and <br />traffic flow within the Port area. <br /> <br />Fireworks cleanup personnel will need access to the Port area prior to the start of the show. The <br />PCA is requesting these vehicles be allowed through the traffic control point on Seaport Boulevard. <br />This group is expected to arrive between 8:30pm and 9:00pm. The PCA will provide special <br />dashboard placards to identify these vehicles. <br /> <br />Other Parking Restrictions <br />Parking in the unimproved area along the Frontage Road and railroad tracks should not be permitted. <br /> <br />Public Parking <br />Public parking in the Port area is limited. Upon approval from the Police Department, the use of <br />one-side (west-bound) curb parking along Seaport Blvd from Seaport Court to the entrance to Pacific <br />Shores may be used for additional public parking.
