Agreement with Kainos Home & Training Center for the <br /> Developmentally Disabled <br /> <br /> Exhibit A <br /> <br /> PROGRAM SERVICES <br /> <br />A. ACTIVITIES <br /> <br />1. Assignment and Transfer of Agreement <br /> <br />Notwithstanding Paragraph 7 herein, this Agreement may be assigned by Contractor on <br />behalf of very low-income households (hereinafter called "Beneficiaries") provided that <br />very low income "Beneficiaries" shall assume all rights and obligations of the Contractor <br />hereunder, in form and content satisfactory to the City. Further, contractor agrees funds <br />hereunder are provided pursuant to 24CFR92, regulations covering the use of HOME <br />funds for eligible subrecipients. <br /> <br />2. Rehabilitation <br /> <br />With funds provided under this Agreement, and funds to be deposited by Contractor <br />hereunder, Contractor shall complete rehabilitation work described in the Budget and <br />Contract Objectives on property located at 3631 Jefferson Avenue. <br /> <br /> BUDGET <br /> FISCAL YEAR 2000/2001 <br /> <br />Contractor shall use the funds provided hereunder for the advancement of programs <br />which provide housing and human services assistance to very low and lower income <br />residents of the City. Contractor shall coordinate its activities with similar programs <br />conducted by the City or with other organizations which provide housing and supportive <br />services to Redwood City residents, and which are consistent with the Consolidated Plan <br />Objectives to be met during 2000-2001. Contractor shall collaborate with similar <br />programs in order to maximize these programs and services, and the City's financial <br />resources which are available to lower and very low income residents. <br /> <br /> Budget Line Item CDBG <br /> Budget <br /> Bathroom repairs $70,000 <br /> Roof repairs $80,000 <br /> TOTAL $150,000 <br /> <br /> <br />
