<br />Attachment #1 <br /> <br />(d) Access to electrical outlets in and around Courthouse Square for public <br />announcement and entertainer use. <br /> <br />Police Department: <br />(a) Extensive crowd and traffic control measures throughout the events. <br /> <br />Community Development: <br />(a) Access and use of Courthouse Square. <br /> <br />(b) Use of the Marshall Street parking garage for handicap and vendor <br />parking from 4:00 pm on Friday, July 3, 2009 until 8:00 pm on <br />Saturday, July 4, 2009. <br /> <br />11. The Permittee Will Provide: <br /> <br />(a) Adequate temporary restroom facilities at no expense to the City. <br /> <br />(b) Post "No Parking" signs under the direction of the Police Department by <br />5:00 pm on June 30, 2009. <br /> <br />(c) Permittee will contact all businesses affected by the street closures on <br />Seaport, Seaport Court and connecting roadways with sufficient time to <br />allow for those businesses to accommodate the proposed street closures. <br /> <br />(d) Waste reduction activities shall be implemented to comply with <br />California State waste diversion mandate AB 939--The Integrated <br />Waste Management Act--to the extent feasible. <br /> <br />(e) Notify all parade entries in writing prior to and on the parade day that a <br />separation of 75 feet will be maintained between units at the <br />intersection of Main and Bradford. <br /> <br />(f) Parade entries will be stopped prior to crossing the intersection of Main <br />and Bradford if there is insufficient space between them and the <br />proceeding unit to completely pass through the intersection. <br /> <br />(g) Entries containing multiple units may to be separated when crossing <br />the intersection of Main and Bradford. The need for separation will be <br />determined by the on-site parade supervisors. <br /> <br />(h) The PCA will provide a senior parade supervisor on Main Street to <br />monitor the flow of units through the intersection with Bradford. <br /> <br />4 <br />
