<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES <br />(FREEDMAN TUNG & BOTTOMLEY) ) <br />~lç.(J' <br />r/ rJ~ <br />THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this J!i day o~r, 2002, by <br /> <br />and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal corporation <br /> <br />("City"), REDWOOD CITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, a redevelopment agency of <br />the State of California ("Agency"), and FREEDMAN TUNG & BOTTOMLEY, a California <br /> <br />sole-proprietorship, whose address is 47 Kearny Street, Suite 500, San Francisco, <br /> <br />California, 94108 ("Consultant") (collectively, the "Parties"). <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City and Agency are pursuing various projects in the downtown and <br /> <br />environs that will implement the Downtown Area Plan (collectively the "Project"); and <br /> <br />also seek expertise to provide further training to existing City and Agency staff in urban <br /> <br />design review; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, from time to time, the City and Agency require professional <br /> <br />consulting services to provide urban design and urban planning services, including <br /> <br />design review and possible assistance in management of the development review <br /> <br />process; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience and is <br /> <br />qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />F:Atty/Agr/Agr.065 <br />101002 <br />
