<br />8A <br /> <br />$13,000 COBG - Spring Street Shelter. Mental Health Association of San Mateo Countfage 10 <br />2686 Spring Street. These funds will be used to support operating costs for a citywide <br />emergency shelter for homeless individuals who have mental disabilities. <br /> <br />Additional Basic Human Needs and Intervention Programs will be funded by Human <br />Services Financial Assistance (HSFA) Program of the City general fund. These services <br />will primarily meet Priorities # 2. <br /> <br />PRIORITY # 3: Implement Non-Housing Community OevelopmentActivities to Provide <br />Economic and Physical Improvements and Facilities for Social Programs in Low Income <br />Neighborhoods <br /> <br />$200.000(2). COBG - Service League of San Mateo County, Acquisition of Transitional <br />Housing 2820 Huntington Avenue, unincoroorated Redwood City. These funds will be <br />used to acquire an existing housing unit that can be used for transitional housing for <br />individuals re-entering the community after incarceration. This facility will serve residents <br />on a citywide basis. <br /> <br />$74.075 COBG - Casa de Redwood. Building Improvements & Replacements. 1280 <br />Veterans Blvd. These funds will be used to make improvements at a low income senior <br />housing development. This activity is located in Census Tract # 6102. <br /> <br />$34,675 COBG - Talk of Broadway Job Creation and Expansion, 2096 Broadway. <br />These funds will be used to make improvements to upgrade an existing business that will <br />provide on-the-job training for Culinary Arts students and create jobs for low income <br />residents. This facility is located in Census Tract # 6102. <br /> <br />(2) The funding amount for this activity may be reduced pending the actual entitlement amount from HUD. <br />
