WHERE...1S, the Board of Supervisors of, the County of San Mateo, State of California, did on the 8th day of August, 1927, approve specifications for certain acquisitions and improvements of Alameda de las ?ulgas and of.the improvement of such of the other streets and avenues which intersect with said Alameda de las Pulgas and are situated within the To~v.n of Redwood City; and v~EAS, the said Board of Supervisors did on said 8th day of August, 1927, not only approve said specifications, but also requested the consent of this council to the acquisition and llmprove~ent of th ose portions of su ch streets proposed to",.be acquired and improved which lie wit hin sa. id Town of Redwo od City and also to the inclusion in the proposed assessment district of that portion of said assessment district ~ying within said Town of Redwood City; and WHEREAS, this day a certified copy of said specification so approved by said Board of Supervisors and a certified copy'of the resolution of said Board of Supervisors so approving such specifications and requesting such consent of this council have been presented to this council, it being the legislative body of said Town' of Redwood City, and have been filed with this council; and WHEREAS, the said acquisitions and improvements include, among other things, the widening, extending and opening of that 1. ,I;&,;::;i,:';"',;
