<br /> <br /> <br />"', ".:.:..,,-.~,-:.:,;;.._c._...,,--..: ,'........ ,~__:_~_ <br /> <br /> <br />...---....--..----...,--.. <br /> <br />certain public road and highway within said County of ,san Mateo <br />designated TfAlameda de las PulgaslT, so that the said public road <br />and highway should extend from the 'southerly line of that certain <br />road in, said County of San Mateo rumling from Belmont to the <br />Crystal Springs Lakes of the Spri ,g Valley Water Company, and <br /> <br />sometimes and herein referred to as Belmont and Crystal Springs <br /> <br />Roadp to that certain road in said COllllty leading from the Town <br /> <br />of Redwood City to Woodside, and someti~es knovm as the Woodside <br />that <br />Road; and/for such purpose various and sundry parcels of land <br /> <br />be acquired; and th~t a.s so opened, widened and extended, the <br /> <br />said Alameda de las Pulgas be improved as follows: <br /> <br />(a) By the grading and preparation of the sub- <br />grade for paving the roadway thereof and for the <br />structures to be plac~d therein as hereinafter <br />mentioned; <br /> <br />(b) By the construction. therein of oement <br />concrete gutters; <br /> <br />(c) By the constrUction therein of cement <br />concrete~curbs and gutters; <br /> <br />(d) By the construction therein of two inch by <br />six inch redwood header boards; <br /> <br />(e) By the construction therein of a granite <br />waste rock waterbound macadam base pavement six inches <br />in thickness after compaction; <br /> <br />(f) By the construction therein of &1 asphaltic <br />concrete wearing surface three inches in thickness; <br /> <br />(g) By scarifying the existing pavement of said <br />Al&ueda de las Pulgas from the center line of Vfuipple <br />Avenue, extended southwesterly to the southwesterly <br />b01ll1dary Ii ne of the T own of Hedwo od City, and by <br />reshaping the surface of such pavemen t and placing <br />thereon a layer of granite waste rock to serve as a <br />base for the asphaltic concrete wearing surface <br />herein mentioned; <br /> <br />(h) By the con struction therein of waterbound <br />rock macadam shoulders on each side of the asnhaltic <br />concrete pavement at th e places sho'\l'Jn on th e :Plans; <br /> <br />(i) By the construction therein of burnt clay <br />drain tile drains; <br /> <br />(j) By the constnlction therein of corrugated <br />galvanized iron culverts with cement concrete <br />headwalls; <br /> <br />2. <br />
