<br />TASK C: <br />1. <br /> <br />3. Plan and prepare the budget and logistics for the event to be reviewed <br />and approved by the Agency. Coordinate and obtain the required City <br />permits. All permit fees will be paid directly by the Agency. <br /> <br />4. Advise and provide assistance to Redwood City's Parks and Recreation <br />Department with the research and implementation of an online ticket <br />program. <br /> <br />5. Provide sub-contractors to assist with the event production including, but <br />not limited to, installation and removal of the tent and dirt, and the set-up <br />and clean-up of the event area. <br /> <br />5.1 The Agency will only reimburse the costs for labor performed by the <br />sub- contractors to Labadie Productions in the amount not to <br />exceed three-thousand dollars ($3,000). <br /> <br />5.2 Labadie Productions will provide detailed invoices for the <br />subcontractor's services, including canceled checks to claim any <br />reimbursement. <br /> <br />84: <br />1. <br /> <br />Lifestyle and Wellness Festival for 2010 <br />Research the likelihood of a Lifestyle and Wellness Festival in downtown <br />Redwood City to be held in 2010. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Explore the potential partnerships with local schools, youth camps, <br />hospitals, and healthcare organizations. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Provide a strategic event plan by November 2009. The plan shall include <br />cost estimates, preferred date(s) of the festival, event layout, list of <br />organizations that will work in partnership with the Agency, and any other <br />pertinent information to determine the viability and likely success. <br /> <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br />Upon written approval from the Redevelopment Agency, continue to <br />provide advice and suggestions to organizations that sponsor public <br />events in Redwood City, including, but not limited to the Downtown <br />Business Group for the Hometown Holidays event and the Police Activities <br />League for the Blues Festival. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Evaluate the effectiveness and offer lessons learned for events managed <br />and organized during the contract period with City and Agency staff.
