Exhibit A <br /> Date, 1995 <br /> <br /> Ms. Jane Baldwin <br /> RhodyCo Productions <br /> 3929 California Street <br /> San Francisco, CA 94118 <br /> <br /> Re: San Francisco Chronicle's Tour De Peninsula <br /> <br /> Dear Ms. Baldwin: <br /> <br /> The City Council on XXXXXX, 1995, has authorized me to issue this letter permitting <br /> The San Francisco Chronicle and RhodyCo Productions to conduct the Tour De <br /> Peninsula bicycle ride in Redwood City, subject to and in accordance with the terms <br /> and conditions herein. (Resolution XXXXXX) <br /> <br /> The permission herein is granted to The San Francisco Chronicle and RhodyCo <br /> Productions (hereinafter called "Permittee") to conduct the "Tour De Peninsula". This <br /> permit is subject to the following terms and conditions: <br /> <br />1. Name of Event: The "Tour De Peninsula" shall be sponsored and conducted by the <br /> Permittee. <br /> <br />2. Revocation: This permit may be revoked at any time without cause by the City of <br /> Redwood City. <br /> <br /> 3. Non-transferability: This permit is nontransferable. <br /> <br />4. Location: The activities herein permitted shall be conducted on Brewster (b/t <br /> Sequoia High School and Alameda); Alameda (between Brewster and north City <br /> limit). Additionally, the City agrees to place "No Parking" signs along the north side <br /> of Brewster from Duane to Alameda de las Pulgas. The signs will indicate no <br /> parking on August 13, 1995 from 5:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Please refer to the <br /> attached map. <br /> <br />5. Date and Time: The "Tour De Peninsula" shall be conducted on Sunday, August <br /> 13, 1995 with a set-up time of 5:00 A.M. The event will begin at 8:00 A.M. The <br /> event will end by 11:00 A.M. and the course will be completely cleared by 12:00 <br /> P.M. <br /> <br /> <br />
