<br />3. Nothing in the resolution shall be construed to limit the <br /> <br />existing authority of cO~Ulties to meet needs within incorporated cities. <br /> <br />4. That the Legislative Committee be instructed to prepare <br /> <br />the necessary legislation looking to this end and that said Committee have <br /> <br />authority to amend, .alter or revise this plan as seems essential to assure <br /> <br />an equitable allocation of gas tax laonies to the cities, and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that .the Board of Directors of the League <br /> <br />of California Municipalities shall create a large state-wide cOlmnittee, re- <br /> <br />presenting the municipalities of all sections of the State for the pU!1iose of <br /> <br />assisting the Legislative Comruittee, both before and during the next session <br /> <br />of the Legislature, in accomplishing the purpose of this resolution. <br /> <br />The above Resolution was duly passed and adopted by the Council of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City on the 5th d~ of December, 1932, by the following <br /> <br />vote: <br /> <br />qes and in favor of the Resolution: g,;".:&.
