DES:djk 05/08/95 (113/39) <br /> <br /> ~ 0 R I G I N A L -- 5/22/95 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12472 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION <br /> OF EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT FOR POLICE VEHICLES; AND <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the <br /> <br />Code of the City of Redwood City, the City Manager caused public <br />notice inviting bids to be published for the purchase and <br />installation of emergency equipment (the "Equipment") for police <br />vehicles in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication two bids were <br />received; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, TransCom Corporation of Menlo Park, California is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to accept the bid thereof; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid (with options) of TransCom Corporation of Menlo <br /> <br />Park, California, in the total amount of Fifty Thousand Two <br />Hundred Fifty and 67/100 Dollars ($50,250.67), computed in <br />accordance with said bidder's proposal dated April 25, 1995 for <br />the sale and installation of said Equipment, which bid is on file <br />in the office of the City Clerk, to which reference is hereby <br />made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby accepted, and <br />said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder for the sale of said Equipment to the City of <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
