DES:d~'- 04/28/95 (110/39) <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL ~: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12458 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE MUNICIPAL SERVICES <br /> CENTER FUEL TANKS AND DISPENSERS PROJECT; AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING <br /> RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12438, adopted February <br />27, 1995, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Municipal <br />Services Center Fuel Tanks and Dispensers Project, Redwood City, <br />California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, seven bids were <br />received for the performance of said work and filed with the City <br />Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, PTS Environmental Service of Loomis, California, is <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to accept said bid of PTS Environmental Service; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. PTS Environmental Service, in the amount of One Hundred <br />Fifty-five Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-three and No/100 Dollars <br />($155,753.00), computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal <br />dated April 25, 1995, for the Municipal Services Center Fuel <br />Tanks and Dispensers Project, is hereby accepted, and said bidder <br />is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder <br />for said work. <br /> <br /> 2. That certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated <br />04/28/95) by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California and PTS Environmental <br /> <br /> <br />
